Who will Floyd Mayweather, Jr. fight next?

This September, Floyd “Money” Mayweather stepped back into the ring after a 21 month hiatus. Mayweather cherry- picked Juan Manuel Marquez as his opponent, a move that many believe was based on Mayweather’s belief he could easily beat Marquez, despite his long absence from the ring. Whether or not that is true- by now we all know the outcome- Mayweather hammered Marquez, winning in every round. There is no denying that Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is back and may be better than ever. He is nimble, he is fast and he is focused.
So, where does Mayweather go from here? He has a number of excellent fighters to choose from. Does he get Shane Mosley in the ring this year? Given Mosley’s open challenge after the Marquez bout, it seems Mayweather would be hard pressed to ignore this. However, Mosley has ignored Mayweather in the past- choosing a vacation over a bout in 2007. There are those who believe Mosley could be the one to knock Mayweather off his throne, and Mayweather may avoid him for just that reason. Then we’ve got the upcoming Pacquiao vs. Cotto match-up on November 14th. Some say Floyd’s got to fight and beat the winner in order to stay relevant. Early predictions are headed in Pacquiao’s favor. And, then there’s Paul Williams, another boxer who can dominate in multiple weight classes.
These are some interesting options for Mayweather, who clearly relies on strategy in picking his opponents, as much as he relies on his own skills and swagger. In the end though, the only thing that wins a fight are skills. Does Mayweather have the skills to continue the streak he started years ago and has re- ignited? Who can give him a fight that allows him to prove it again?

Whoever he fights from that list will give him a good fight. More importantly, a fair fight.

I say the Pac-Man himself… but they will have to work out the money situation. They both will not do a 50-50 split in compensation.
