Will Brett Favre’s consecutive NFL Football Game starts streak end this year?
Brett Favre has indicated that he will not let his 269 consecutive games started streak get in the way of the Minnesota Vikings season this year.
Favre led the Jets to first place through 11 games in the AFC East. But injury hampered his effectiveness as he threw nine interceptions and the team lost four of its last five games. Favre now admits he injured his bicep tendon last season, but still remained the Jet’s starter which could have cost the Jets a possible playoff appearance.
The Vikings are playoff and Super Bowl contenders this year. They have all the pieces in place to have a monster season, especially now that they have a hall of fame quarterback orchestrating the offense. The question remains, can Brett Favre at 39 and with nagging injuries make it through the entire season.
